Just returned to the U.S. on Saturday from the week-long course in research instrumentation/measurement. Still a little jet-lagged, but I'm going through all of my photos and reliving all the great memories. What a fantastic trip! Each new place we traveled to was better than the next, and I only wish we had had had more time...

A few photos of beautiful Luzern...

We visited the Alps (Stanserhorn) after a short train ride from Luzern...

One of the best parts of our trip was our tour through Bern (organized by ThinkSwiss). From reading other posts, it seems that others agree! We had a great presentation about the Swiss healthcare system...very interesting to hear and compare to the U.S. given our current healthcare issues. We then had a scooter tour through the city and a lot of fun at dinner there that night...

We loved swimming in the Rhine!! Apparently, this happens all over Switzerland...(though this particular photo is from Bern)

Aside from all of the sightseeing and fun, the main reason we were in Switzerland was for our class in measurement in healthcare research. We had a great experience in working in groups to develop a research instrument! Very interesting to hear opinions and differences in perspective from so many different cultures! Here is a picture of our presentations on the last day of class...

I had a great time...obviously :) I hope to be back soon!!
